“The Power of Aluminum” | Randy Grskovic | Analogue Collage (14 copies of the same vintage magazine) 24” x 24”
This is another work from the same “Reoccurring Themes” series. I had found images that I imediately responded to and sourced as many of the originals as I could. This one depicts a manic old lady with an Chevy Impala loaded up with beer cans. I wanted to question resources with this artwork. At first glance it looks like a cloud of smoke from an old car but really it is a ridiculous amounts of cans piled sky high.
Currently on display at the Slide Room Gallery.
Thanks to galasai for the post :)

For the past 6 months I’ve been collecting images of people in states of mania. I also collected every image of money I could find. For me, this process was just as important as the final image.
